"Nedcon Safety Day" is an annual event hosted by Nedcon Bohemia, specifically designed to highlight the importance of safety when working at heights and to provide practical strategies for risk prevention. For the second consecutive year, we were invited to actively present solutions of fall protection, reflecting on our commitment to this vital awareness initiative.

Practical demonstration

A highlight of the event was an interactive practical zone, alongside our promotional stand displaying fall protection systems. 

The main attraction allowed over volunteers from Nedcon Bohemia to engage directly, experiencing: 

• the ascent of a 6-meter ladder
• the process of securing themselves with fall protection systems,
• rappelling back down on a rope. 

Professional supervision

This hands-on experience, overseen by TOPSAFE experts Pavel Ondruš and Michal Kern, along with technical support from SKYPRO's Petr Ježek and experienced climber Lukáš, provided valuable insight into the capabilities and limitations of various safety solutions. 

Notably, SKYPRO is a crucial fall protection systems supplier for Nedcon, providing harnesses and ropes for their daily work at height.

Long-term partnership

TOPSAFE's collaboration with Nedcon Bohemia is rooted in a long-term partnership, which includes supplying a comprehensive fall protection system for Nedcon's roofs and furnace operations with annual maintenance.

Furthermore, TOPSAFE regularly conducts revisions of all fall protection systems, which are essential for Nedcon's operations.
